Booger 2.0! Missing the backseat and is rusty but runs. @Huevo450 sent it to me earlier and thought I’d share

That looks cool! Too bad its bones are riddled with rust cancer.

Edit: seller seems like a “I kNoW wHAt i gOt”

Saw that as well. The booger seemed to be a much better deal. That one is crusty …… but only 20 min away.

Spotted at Lowe's in Camden, SC. Synthetic line, 10k, $221. I wonder if it's any good?
10k would be for a SXS. Most synthetic rope for full size trucks is at least 30k-40k.

Whoops, the picture didn't attach. It's a 10K winch with synthetic rope for $221.

At that price, worth a shot. Might pull off the end caps and seal with rtv, but otherwise send it.

Name is generic enough to imply it's an offshore clone of something.

I always shunned cheapo winches. Reason being that a winch is something you are using generally in a bad situation. Having a cheapo winch die just at the very wrong time was my fear.

At one point Viper winch sent me one to test out for them and review. I mounted it to the bumper but still took my warn on a tray with me. The Viper actually held up well. Viper is still around, I think they only make UTV winches now.

Did they have more than one? Very interested

Only the display model, I asked. I will be there again Monday or Tuesday (I've never seen winches at any CLT Lowe's) and can grab it for you if you like. BTW, they have a 12k winch also but it's $419 and you can get a Badlands at HF for less than that with the Xmas sales.

Speaking of winches, Nathan @Rushing is in the process of building a hopped-up Warn 8274. It will have a much stronger motor, Albright contactor in lieu of old-school solenoids, oil drain and fill ports and greasable end plate. His plan is to somehow shove it into the ARB bumper of his LC100. Some assembly required.

'91 FJ80 for sale, 191K miles, $14,500. Located near Leesville/540. [ONSC folks: I'm not a member but got a chance to spend some time with fourtrax and your group some years back out at Uwharrie, I appreciated your group treating an old Jeep guy very nicely. Before posting on FB, I thought I would reach out to you all.]

My son moved from Utah recently and changed up his vehicle situation and we're selling. Clean titled and tagged in NC very recently. This rig spent recent years in Colorado before Utah. I brought it back to NC a few months back; when I got here I took it to Zach at Holland's Automotive in Fuquay, who mostly does Toyota work. Zach looked it over and called it solid.

Interior can be "what you want it to be" - the carpets were nasty so I removed them, and the interior needs some work around the dash to clean things up.

Shoot me a DM if truly interested. Can meet you in the vicinity of Leesville/I-540. Posting here first; after a week or two I'll move to FB marketplace.

-John

Cool looking truck. You may get more traction if you post some undercarriage, engine bay, dash cluster, etc pics. Maybe consider classifieds on mud too? The 80 series is why I’m a Land Cruiser fan. In any event, GLWS.

Wow, that is cheap if operational
Just a hand crank option for mine is $395
