Saw this sweet Freeborn Red FJ62 in Ocean City NJ a few weeks ago. This thing was CLEAN and had over 300k on it!
Talked to the old dude for twenty minutes, he is in love with his Cruiser!
He also has a 60 and a 100.
Told him about the club, but his eyes just glazed over, and he continued to tell me the history of his rig...

I met up with Fred Williams (I know his parents) this past week and got to look over his TubeSock Jeep with the Cummins R2.8. He says it really performs well - both on the highway as well as the trail. Looking it over, it would definitely fit well in a Toyota.

If only you had a warehouse full of parts to fix it with then you'd be cool.

Unfortunately, my '93 has different size lines/fittings than later '93's and up. Everything I need is not available. I'm pretty sure the line connections on the compressor are different as well...
