It's a button. On the LV I kept the factory handle for the PB on the transfer case, and added a power stop to the brakes on the rear axle. On Pua'a 2, just the power stop operating the 80-series parking brake (rear axle).
You could operate the power stop from the factory handle (most of them have a switch to show the PB is engaged, and that could trigger a power stop) but you would want to add some mechanism to give some resistance, or it would feel 'loose', I think.

yep, had a hand brake next to driver seat after getting the 60 rear axle. but love my estopp on Steve, especially on tight switchbacks on the trailNo, I don't think so. Just a fj60 cable. It looks to be abandoned for his new estop system. I could be wrong, too.
