Johnny and team are currently putting Rosie back together with new OEM carpet, OEM dash, and just about any other OEM interior part i could find for sale (including the little piece of oak carpet for the center console).

I'll likely put her up for sale once everything is done and move onto the 79 DC project.

Soooo...if anyone is following and is interested, hit me up and we can discuss.

Oh I could also be temped with trades...

Brett

Just went through this whole thread.
Just amazing job Brett and everyone who worked on it.

Yeah a bit! She’s getting a brand new interior…at least as many new oem parts I could buy!

Also intercooler is in!

And now you are selling it... That is quite a build sheet.

On thing the listing did not mention was the replacement of the rear quaterpanel glass with fixed panes, which is an upgrade IMHO.

I am curious about expectations re selling price....

Pretty sure It was ordered that way. Also, no sunroof

Learning something new today. I have never seen a US spec 80 without the sun roof and rear slider windows! I wonder if it had been possible to order a manual transmission truck in the US? or an icebox? Or rear aircon?

It was a line item to add or delete if you ordered a new truck.

Not many people were ordering new 80s built the way they wanted, most sales were just dealerships ordering stock, and they usually went for all the options. Higher cost -> higher list, more profit.

But yes, you will see these on occasion - no sunroof, no roof rack, cloth interior, non-sliding rear windows, aka "poverty pack".

Manual transmission: no. the platform was never qualified (think EPA/CARB) with anything but the 1fz-fe (adding a supercharger was CARB-accepted) and 4-speed auto.
Icebox: assuming you mean the center console fridge, no wasn't an option in the states
rear A/C: same. suggest adding a condenser fan. this was OEM on the 100, and the 80 series fitted with rear A/C

I've just been replacing the compressor on my Omani diesel, manual 80. It has a fan on the condenser in front of the radiator. Learned a lot in the process.

Best wishes for a successful sale!

Bat ad says sale by dealer in Portland?
