Thanks. The hoses I removed (seemed like a million) and none were attached to it.

Jim, what year round air cleaner will fit the throat of my 60 series carburetor?

The peanut gallery is saying I need that air cleaner for the correct look.

Mine is early and does not have correct throat diameter nor does it have the center stud.

The only thing that *might* fit is the 3/69-9/69 2bbl air cleaner lid. It looks like a 68-74 air cleaner, but uses a stud & wingnut setup like 75-later, but it might be smaller in diameter.

I figured that on heat. Plus the way they are captured I can't see how they would loosen.

@metalshaper hows that tranny hump?

@beno got me new plastic bushings for my Tcase shifter that made a world of difference. It's perfect.

Once I get the hump back the fuel system and interior goes back in.

I should have it finished this week for you.

If I was a mechanic I would have to charge $1000 an hour to break even.

I suck. I'm slow. I got ADD.

I have to see something through to feel good and that is damn hard to do on a project like this.

Today I got these killer @cruisercorps panels installed. OEM blinkers. The grill. The radiator support.

Lots of parts still on the table to install.

These little plugs for the side of the thermostat to remove the EGR stuff from Beno are sweet. They come with thread locker

Hood down. On new rubber pads. Had to do some hammering but it's smooth now.

When is this thing gonna be back on the road?

Dunno. Lots left to do but then there really isn't.

Wiring is going to be the last step and likely a decent hurdle I will need help with.

I'm shooting for first cool weather. October.

Where did you get those new junction blocks for the front wiring?

Toyota dealer.

Got home to a nice little box-o-Beno tonight. It's just simple stuff to finish up my axle.

Of course the "ducking" hubs won't lock right.

I guess the springs in the hubs are out of whack.

Maddening.

The most simple s*** sometimes.

I'll pull my 60's hub off and see if I can see WTF is not right.

Ugh.
