Looking great!!!

I bought headlight adjusting screws off ebay. They were for 78 and earlier FJ40. I modified them by carefully reaming out the first 1/8 of the plastic, ending with 13/64 drill bit, then gently threaded the first 1/8 with a 6mm tap.

FJ40 originals on the left, modified plastic and original 6mm FJ55 screw on the right.

Ok where did you get all the side marker gaskets I need them all for my pig.

Salvaged the originals. I soak them in ATF, it helps soften them, but be careful, too long, and the rubber relaxes, then you have to cut and glue, which really sucks...

I finally think I figured out the window felt problem. Rear windows, with the new fixed gaskets, are too tight to use the window channel rubber that I found. So, I test fit it with this vinyl window stuff from Home Depot/Lowes. Cut the non-adhesive side off, stuck in in the fixed window channel. then, cut the "bottom of the U" off the window felt, and glued the sides into the channel. Now, the side to side clearance should be tight, but the fore/aft clearance should loosen up enough for the window to move....glue needs 24 hours to cure, so stay tuned.

After lots of test fitting and fighting with the rear doors, particularly the new fixed door window gasket, I was able to install the new felt, and have the windows actually work. Started a whole new thread on window channel/door window install.

Might do the same when I get the door gaskets installed.

Had to buy new hardboard for the rear cargo panels, and drivers side kick panel. Carefully salvaged the original vinyl from the cargo panels, will have to replace the kick panel vinyl.

I will paint the cargo panels before the vinyl goes on, and will be adding water shields to the rear cargo area to prolong the life of these panels.
