When we pulled the interior liner out we realized that the roof was severely caved in abut mid-way and that the roof was indeed FILLED with inches" of filler
A good portion of the roof was going to have to be cut out and thats when my body guy pitched me the idea of greeting in a full electric sunroof and I said 'Sheck yes'

Morning all ...
My apologies gents, finally checking in this morning, it's been a while ...

So, piggy has been stuck at the paint shop moving along slowly BUT we are nearing the point where I can get the frame back and we can get rockin' on the build.
The paint shop needed the body on frame to set all the gaps on the front and he should be done this week.

Hope to be more active in a few weeks as soon as we get all the stuff (LOTS) back from powder coating

Had all the openings that were not needed closed up ....

Calfshyte brown is the shiznit! But they all went to Australia
There have been a few sweet gray rigs come down the tubes.
The one in the top pic especially. Not sure where it came from, build wasn’t shared on the IPPS anyways.

RUSH ... I bleive that top one is the only FJ55 that ICON resto-modded, they only went half way with it but still a nice build

These two are both TLC fj55s, but they’re more restoration than restomod.

Thanks Gonzo, yes I had seen the video from Jonathan before but nice to watch it again ...

Small updates, just received my full RSA seal kit from Australia, just picked up the frame from the body shop for some final touch-ups and then finally ALL the suspension and components will be headed for powder coating ... then let the fun FINALLY begin

So excited ... finally after 1 year and a half of dealing with missing shocks, and customizing this full suspension, steering etc ... we dropped off the frame and parts for blasting and powder coating ... Assembly time is almost here !!!
