Bubs - looking good, man. I'm going to visit your uncle this weekend to grab my fenders and deliver some doors to him. Looking forward to checking out the garage and all the TLC goodness.

Man I wish when I was your age I had gotten into Cruisers. This looks like a fun build enjoy it and welcome to the madness.

Oh, that shine! Jeez, where's my shades?

Yeah it's coming along. Got the hardtop sides bolted on with the correct weatherstripping, rear header and side door headers are in place. Waiting for a few seals for the rear header/hardtop side joint should be here tomorrow. Amby doors are assembled and installed, front doors have the window runs and windows/mechanisms installed. truck is running, stopped and turning. Had an HEI distributor here that came with an F engine I bought here on MUD- used that, it was easy to install and eliminated the need for a separate coil and igniter and it works very well. All lights and accessories work- had to adapt the 78 wiring harness to the 73 wiper motor harness not too big a problem. Rollcage and seat belts installed. Heater pieces and ducts are installed. Zach and his dad Jim are working on re-doing the jump seats. Jim and Zach were looking at rear bumpers, they liked the old Smittybilt tube typw. just happened to have one buried in the top of ym garage- mounted it and it looks awesome! Top is at the painter, had to buy a new windshield header as the old one was toast. Have to cut down the steering column cover from a Grant kit to get the Grandt wheel installed. to avoid the hassle getting a horn to work with a Grant wheel I installed a separate push button switch and horn relay. Stereo is mounted in the Tuffy console and the speakers are some kind of waterproof bazookas. Don't mind the license plate it's an old one of mine from my old BJ70. Top is going to be black- not my particualr choice but it should look pretty good. Here's some pics before the doors were installed. Zach has more pics but he's been pretty well tied up with football. But for sure it's getting there! Gary S
