Kraig and Justin. I KNOW you've done more on our beloved Beaker since the last post. It's been good to sit and read up on this, but where'd it go??
Am I gonna have to come back up there and bring another 44 to work on and revive that dead horse that KEVLUX is beating??

Okay okay! I hear you! here is an update.

I went down to the shop in late October to get beaker dialed in, but with all of the preparation for the FJ-Ute going to SEMA, All hands were needed so I mostly worked on getting FJ-Ute-001 ready for the show.

I now have plans to fly back to Colorado just after the new year to get her up and running! The HZ is sitting in the engine bay and the suspension is very close so I am hoping a good week of hard work and she will be ready to test drive!

I will keep posting updates as we get her back in the shop and back on her own four feet!

Okay! Finally time for some updates!

I'm going to do this like Quentin Tarrantino and show you a few teasers first and then go back in time to walk in through the build over the next week or so. Lots of pictures coming up so stay posted!

The green one? That's one you can rent to sleep in at a great hot springs in central Utah. It's where I stopped on the way back to California from Colorado. Perfect halfway point with little cabins and 24 soaking!

We dropped the rear linkage (previous Post) and re-pulled the engine to get it lined up for new permanent mounts.

The following pics are of our first attempt to install the tranny mount with the HJ74 oem crossmember, but due to the expected droop from the coilovers the member would interfere with the driveshaft. It was either use a pillow block and two piece driveshaft, or make a new crossmember from scratch that gave us enough room for the front shaft (pics 4 and 5).

So is this truck all done and driving ? Any feedback comments ?

Nope... Truck has been on the road for the last two years!

Only thing that stalled out was the postings! I will post a few more updates of the build soon as I have another thread to start as well!

Tap tap tap. We're waiting....

This thing is bad ass. Do you have it with you here in SoCal? Are you going to bring this to the meetup in Ocenside in Jan?

That's so funny! I was just thinking that I needed to finally update this thread with the completed build. I will get on that this week!

Yes. The truck is here in North County San Diego (Oceanside) and I just got her back on the road after putting a new clutch in and a new/rebuilt H55 and Transfer. More on that later. I will be bringing it to the meeting for sure @EWheeler !
