Pretty quiet in here... what are you working on?

Made some great progress today on the platform setup. Assembled the fridge platform that sits between the spare and the driver’s seat and the front box that extends the drawer module to a 6’ sleeping platform. I’ll do a hatch in the front box and under the fridge gives a nice hiding hole too…really happy with V2.0! Next choice is do I pony up for a $275 sheet of bamboo plywood for bling and strength or just go finish grade birch and bedliner coating that would be about $60.

And some more with my old plywood for testing. I’ll probably add some wings to the passenger side too for a nice finish…next up is to cut and drill the base plates to anchor everything down. I’ll use all existing mount points so I won’t drill any new holes in the floor.

i like what i'm seeing! i had sketched out something similar last year, when i was about to pull the trigger and buy that tire mount and build a passenger side drawer/bed. slightly different thought as i was going to keep the fold forward seats b/c my kids sit back there all the time

i'll just wait for you to figure out all the measurements, connectors, bolts, and solution to bolting it down to the floor and plagiarize the heck out of it :)

Happy to share my notes when I’m happy with the finished product!

Badlands jacks are 25% off for Inside Club members today, so I used that as an excuse to pick one up.

These are awesome...I have the Barnes 4WD mount that I had in my cruiser, but will probably mount in my trailer now that I'm doing the platform and have the Mojab hydraulic jack for in the truck.

That's great for the 3 ton! That thing is heavy.
I found that the 1.5 ton fits perfectly inside the Husky 12 gallon storage box from Home Depot. Now I can stack things on top of it and keep some other things with it as well.

Ahh...they only sold the larger one when I got mine a couple of years ago...I may need to look into one of these too! I love those Husky boxes as well, I use a bunch of them in various sizes.
