A trip to remember. The colors could not have been better, the company was fantastic as always and the 50 mile an hour gusts that almost took my tent to Tennesee, and the tree that fell on my truck as we were driving out added to the experience!

Here are a couple shots.

Steenh - you got me so excited but that fine swine is owned and was piloted by Jason. Still a nice vid!

Sorry, Fixed it... You'd have looked just as good! :grinpimp:

That fog waterfall thing followed by the wind was one of the most bizarre weather things I have seen...too cool.

Looks like the wind made it to GA today :)

Great weekend. Highlights for me:

Getting to camp Saturday afternoon and relaxing with live digital football and pizza 20 miles from nowhere/nobody on top of a mountain.
Trollhole RULES! You continue to outdo yourself Marshall.

The weather.

The colors.

The fogfall Sunday morning.

Elk chili. Wow!

Fresh baked cornbread from my new contraption.

Learning to drive my Bonnie better each time. Shocksnapper was a whole different ride second time around.

Great company.

Great pics on the forum to remember it by.

Low lights:

Both piggies coming up lame. Especially J's which couldn't get home.

Having to sit through a Blue Norther to watch Choke Mitchell give the Vols a non-earned victory after a refreshing Gamecock rally.

And now to this:
We didn't make it to wet camp this trip. We were going to hit it this morning, but we ended up going out the other side of the caney fork trail.

I did manage to take the Cado up the shortcut. Jason was along for the ride after we dropped his piggie with a dead clutch. He can describe that ride...was too quick and crazy for pictures :)

We didn't do a 'more difficult' group this time. Instead we did an early (for football) and later (slower starters) group.
I would really like to go back up and hit some of the more technical sections before they close for the winter. I'm thinking Mud Ledge, Shortcut, Shocksnapper again and uphill to Wet Camp.
I'm going to start a thread for a small return pilgrimage. Title will be LURP.
