FWIW, the proper part number for the F1.5 head is 60050, 60051, or 60052. The 60052 requires the step-down studs for the Intake Exh combo.

I've never seen these part numbers listed anywhere and each head was only used for a few months during the F1.5 run.

I have a 4/74 with a 60051 head.

Also, you're going to need the head bolts specific to the F1.5 head if you stick with that motor.
No. This motor is gone. I’m not going to mess with it.

The 2 piece box/rag joint column came in 10/72. For the earlier trucks, swapping to a later 40 box, and then modifying the firewall/outer column might get the EPS installed but would take some time. It’d be almost the same as any other PS mod.
For sure not worth all that. Saginaw is my choice with OEM pump for an early truck with a late drivetrain swap

The dash pad glued in nicely overnight. Nice and clean.

Added an OEM weatherstrip and a little fluid film under it

The rollbar interfered with the driver knob so I added a 4” M8 bolt and spacer

Ever given any thought on how to get that second bumperette on when using the 4plus?

this build is awesome. Wow. Best color IMO especially with the patina
It’s been fun. Should be awesome when finished.

I shipped all this pretty up to @RocketCityCrzrs today

Hopefully he can get that turned around pretty quick now

Rear shocks came in. I ended up using the longer rear shocks in the front so had to order another set of 12” body Bilst

Added some @SMG hood pins. One side went as planned. Second side not so much

Broke an ear off of the hinge. Hopefully Brandon has one in blue for me

Using Amayama which appears is showing only a loaded cylinder head part number. Has all the seats, freeze plugs etc etc are included.I always assumed my 2/73 had a 74 F155. The head does appear to fall in line with your cylinder head numbers. 60051. It like your is 60051. The block is a mystery. Cast on the front left is 60032. Not showing that number in the 3/69-1/75 range. Oil filter is correct for 74. Either it doesn't have a serial number or heavily painted.

Curious what site you using? Amayama seems to have plenty of holes on the early 40s. I use that mainly for 80s and 90s parts that could work in a 40.

Can’t find any new 74 Wipers. Weird. They always show up to 73 and down to 75 so I just put new rubber on these. So complicated yet so simple

I took the JT Outfitters fiberglass tranny hump, front hinge, evap cover and fuel tank cover to my paint guy this morning then came back and started the interior clean

I’m planning on leaving it black back there but need a good baseline clean before I bolt it all back together. I also have to repair the hole under the fuel tank. I think I’ll hit the cockpit floor with some Lizard Skin as well once I treat the rust spots.

On a side note, I picked up a 1 owner Mississippi 11/78 this morning as well. It was brought to 49 Tire in January 21 to get it running and evaluate for restoration.

This thing is so rusted out I’m sad to say it’s a goner. The PO had it (poorly) painted at some point then parked it on the Gulf Coast and then even had it in England for a while.

I’ve never seen one rusted like this. I was afraid the hood was going to blow off on the way home

Red picked paint flakes off of it for 10 minutes and lost interest
