Long bed way better! nice job

Such an awesome build. And certainly the most inspiring I've encountered to date. Unbelievable! I love it so much!

Splurge for the tig - I can only imagine where it will lead you. I'll bet you can find a used Miller Bobcat for cheap out where you are.

Best mistake you ever made not selling it for $1500. Great work, best Frankenstein I've seen for a while.

I've been thinking about using the rear truck window that slides up and down.

Yeah, a Ton of work, but it would be awesome. Watch for someone that is parting a wrecked truck out and cut out the entire section - graft it in.

What about using a mini truck window? Or does it need to be of cruiser origin?

mini truck may work- id like as much "window" as possible to keep a very unobstructed view as possible. i really need to look at measurements as close to the opening as ive got

I have never thought of you being scared of some work.

why not make the fenders hinged with the bedsides? Then you could fold them up out of the way with the sides on or take both off.

This thread is very long and I'm not going through the whole thing right now. But it looks like you stuck a 55 front end on an 80 cab and chassis ? Whatever it is this is a sweet looking project. This would be a blast to have spare rig you could just chop and weld on.

between running to fires, take the time and read this thread. one of my favorites. Amazing what one can do in an alley when the landlord is off to the grocery store.

Might be worth heading to an RV supply store for your window. Your rear panel will likely be flat and most factory automotive windows have some curve in them as the body panels are curved.

I am posting this against my will, as I want you to put in a tundra window or even mod a 4runner rear hatch to work.....

window sliders options.... google cr Laurence

I second on CR Lawrence. I've used them for a variety of hardware needs related to glass and automotive

Done! ordered up an oem 93-98 T100 slider window today. 58" wide- 15" tall- when centered it should have 2" gap all around for framing.
