The shop is for my powder coating business. I have very little left over space for the lift, but I did it anyway because I am always at work. Most of my work days are long but I get little free moments here and there so I can jump on the Cruiser project when it happens. That must be nice - a gigantic shop AND a lift
Looks great! Did you use the lizardskin spray gun or a cheaper version ie HF?I had to work this weekend but made lemonade out of lemons. I prepped the 55 floor Saturday and sprayed the Lizard Skin Sunday while waiting for powder coated parts to cure. Looks a ton better now!View attachment 3636197
Thanks. My pace that I originally envisioned is long gone! Lol. At least things are finally getting done on it!Pig looks great! Glad you are taking care of her! Jealously following along. Looks much better without the green when I had it.

I bought the Lizard skin gun. It really isn't terribly special but it works well. I really had to keep the cup full because it didn't want to perform so great once it got to about a third full. I am used to (in my previous career) having a two stage trigger on my paint gun so I was kinda surprised when I blasted a big blotch of lizard skin on the floor trying to set my air pressure. It does take a ton of volume- 50 psi and seems like a lot of cfm. My shop compressor is a 40 hp screw so no biggie but my little crapola at home probably would struggle.Looks great! I'll do it before Bob does.I need to decide on what to put in the hole now.
OK, perfect setup, have at it![]()
Absent mucho sound deadening on all panels, including floor and roof as well as doors, tailgate and cargo panels, and fresh weatherstripping all around your "2f symphony" is likely to still overpower whatever unit and speakers you install. I've got all that plus my I-Phone connection directly wired to a separate amp and four speakers (Polk in the back and Kicker in the front doors where the ash trays used to live.) Fine around town...iffy on the road. For real, do I go block off plate? I see someone is making a block off plate with a Bluetooth controller- might be cool. I generally just enjoy the 2f symphony but tunes might be good once in a while.

The budget needs clarification -So much for the 5K budget ...
It's really not that loud inside even with leaks and lack of sound deadener so not a big deal there. The a.m. factory radio and one speaker in my 40 is useless above about 35 mph but it is still nice to have sometimesAbsent mucho sound deadening on all panels, including floor and roof as well as doors, tailgate and cargo panels, and fresh weatherstripping all around your "2f symphony" is likely to still overpower whatever unit and speakers you install.
