I some 60 and 70 series buckets. They aren't the greatest shape tho. I do like both because they are so simple and tough.60 series buckets from Boneyard![]()

Lots of options between high-dollar aftermarket and what may be the most uncomfortable bench seat I ever sat on. I used 2004ish F150 captains chairs with integrated shoulder belts for "Bonnie/Frankencruiser". Ask @greenbeast for pics. He has another F150 set waiting to go into "Clyde". Install involved bolting 18" of angle iron to the floor on the inside, using the stock outside pedestals and some slight trimming to the outside base of the seat. Whole install for both sides took about an hour. Late '90s GM truck/Tahoe/Suburban also have integrated shoulder belts but I'm unfamiliar with details of that install, also frequently done.I have Scheel Mann seats in my hj-61-ish truck and love them. Downside is I dont want to spend that kind of $$ just yet on my 55. I am thinking stock seats for now. Still a $2000+ adventure, but cheaper than buckets since the rear needs a redo as well.
Somewhere, somehow, I have to get less Cruisers under my roof. I just haven't accepted it yet- or which ones!
As many times as I have thought of selling my 55, I remind myself that this model is the hardest, and coolest to own. I don't really like easy. Every time I go that route I get fat(ter) and lazy. No challenge, no fun.
