The dash is pretty cool in the green truck. In 1980, as a little kid, we lived about very close to Indio....so this truck and I were probably not but 10 miles apart in 1980. Now it's 10 feet from my office door

Ran my paint meter around it.....stock paint. Not bad for 47 years old.

Took the ‘72 out for a short walk.

Just got the the rusty one, a 79, as a parts car. But the tub is not in that bad a shape and the rust is mostly what you see on the rear quarters. And it came with a good title. So it will run again. Has the motor and most everything in it still. Was parked back before 40s got popular. The runner is a 76, 100% bone stock. It has some rust in the rear sill and fenders. And as soon as I find someone to take my money that will get fixed.

When doing an LS3, do you build your own harness or do you have someone build them? When I did my LM7 in my FJ60 I had a custom harness built. My new project is a 1969 FJ55 and I sure would like to do the LS3 with a 4L65…
