Curtis with ‘Amigo’ did similar replacing rear quarters and blending in patina capri. Nice 40 and good luck.

Current status. Plans are to remove more of the bondo on the rear and blend in *some* paint, but keep most of the character. Also finish removing the beige respray.

I did and even created a little bit of fake patina to make it blend in properly. Turned out pretty slick.
