Sorry, I thought everybody did....:) Seriously, I don't know what happened to their site. Maybe they got bought out? We need to do a deep dive.

Second the vote to contact the Australian FJ55 Facebook page. Some valuable knowledge there and a few local banana benders on the page.

Will do, I'm away for work at the moment. Got an 8 hour drive home on Wednesday. I'm doing some work on the oinker while I'm home. I'll post up some goodness on Thursday. I've also got an original service manual that came with the car. I think it has some diagrams of the manual set up too

Hi Everyone
My Name Matt this is my 1971 FJ55
sitting on 37" I am ready to go spring over
I have joined looking for help and ideas.
I am setting new seats in it right now. looking at add 60series power steering, lockers, sliders as most the lower panels are already gone.

Thanks for having me talk to you all soon.

Welcome to the group. Sit back, crack a beer and let us spend your money for you. :) We're full of cool ideas. 👍

OK like no one seen this coming, FFS Scraps let Matt settle in and check the water temperature before you set the hook.

Next thing you’ll casually say “hey friend why don’t you check out the slow 71 build thread”.

Between me running off the venders asking questions about their products and you trying to bankrupt all the new members we might single handily turn the sty into a ghost town

Welcome to the sty Matt, before anything else on your list...drivers mirror!

Seriously though, lots of great support in here, ask away.

Welcome Matt!
Is there any back story to your Pig? Have you had any Pigs before? Sometimes folks just randomly stumble into the Pig life, sometimes there is more to it?
Scraps will be wondering if you have $5k liquid...
You have some great company in Idaho - some cool Pigs over there.

I know right I would love to find mirrors. the passenger housing is there but it is shot. and no glass. and it is cracked at the base. so really I have no factory mirrors anymore.
Pretty common issue, there are mirrors floating around classifieds every once in a while.

Thanks, Seat brackets will be here Monday. Cleaning up the wheels this weekend. Cruiser outfitters turned me on to this page. I just sold a few sets of wheels and tires. I also order perches. this thing is so fun. I have had a welder in my Garage for years. this rig has got me to run power for it. I can work on it right here at the house. I am going to set up Tig for it to start on body panels.

Crack a beer. I think this will be a lot of Beer project. My next door neibour has a built Tacoma so we are always looking at projects gauge them in the number of beers it will take to complete. "that's about a 4 beer project." Hahahaha thanks and Cheers.
