Jeeze that’s a tough thing to do.

Going to a good home Bob?

WHY, WHY, WHY, WHY! 😒😫😭πŸ˜₯.
One of the hardest things I did was sell of my β€˜69 510 wagon (Goon) after we started our family, but it was just sitting and I knew it had to get driven/loved.
If I had kept it there wouldn’t have been anything left too keep…the next caretaker gave it the paint job etc it needed and it lives on today.

Take some comfort that it’s not sitting outside rotting, it has another chance.

Easy to sympathize with you and bobm. Looks like my Model A project, a truck I bought from a Vietnam-bound friend more than 50 years ago, is about to go to a new owner. Finally admitting I'll never get around to re-doing it with everything else going on at this stage of life. Will still have too many things (7) with engines and wheels.

Yep, as Vernon said-its like having 8 kids, you cant give each of them what they need- Im going to let go of a couple soon
Sure you are........

Model A is kinda like a kid...bought it from a Vietnam-bound friend back in 1965 for $50 when the trick was avoiding having any kids. Sold it to my brother a few months later in order to pay off a traffic ticket. It's sat since 1968 inop and he gave it back to me in 2007. An adventure finally getting the title into my name today at the DMV. It had been purged from the system and they had to create a new file using the 57-year-old title signed back to me 15-years ago and the 1968 registration slip.
Probably priced it low. Could have sold ten of 'em since posting on Craigslist Sunday afternoon.
