OPOR Sliders, if you were ever on the fence about sliders it's time to get off!

I ordered a set, i dont really care if it takes 8 weeks. gives me a chance to get other things done.

I ordered mine knowing full well that I wouldn't get them on the to do list for months after getting them, the deal was too good to pass up.

Went in with a fellow member of ONSC. Couldn't pass on the 20% and split shipping. I'm sure they are being inundated with orders right now so I can understand a wait. I'll post up to my build thread whenever they arrive.

Does anyone running these think that bolt on is to flexy or weak compared to weld on? One of the local shops swears by weld on. But i will not be doing any serious rock crawling but do want true protection for when i get in over my head.
For MT/OPOR Outpost - No way, I have Hi-jajcked and high centered the sides and nothing out of what I would call normal flex. I would never even think about welding them with the great hardware included. Just my $0.02.

ok, so i was also in your boat. Was told that weld on was the "deal" but then asked myself, did I want to weld stuff to my frame? Heck no! For repair purposes also, it is nice to remove the things that are in your way. With weld-ons its not an option.

If you have front control arm drop brackets (Man-A-Fre) then they interfere with driver side front most mount on the OPOR sliders. If you have those, someone may have told you you to weld these. I would buying another method of caster correction (slee arms, plates etc) before I would be welding a slider on.

Right. Changing an O2 sensor (just did one of them) or anything similar would be a nightmare with weld on sliders.

I installed mine using my 10 year old on the hydraulic jack and me on the sliders, they are heavy as sh*t
Isn't putting a 10 year old on a hydraulic jack child abuse?!

Good to see they put them on sale again. They are BEFFY! Just take a look at cat protection, crazy beefy.

Used mine a couple times already and love them.

2 weeks ago I was crawling over a large boulder to get into the camp site and crunched down on the cat skid plate pretty good. There was no deflection, they did their job. Definately glad I opted to paint mine and not powdercoat.

Finally took a picture of what happened after a little bump and grind with a boulder. It was all NLXTACY's fault, he made me do it! :P
