79 and later have flat top pistons. Putting this on a pre 79 bottom end will cause the piston to smack the head.
Your better off dropping a whole 3fe engine at probably the same price than doing that mod with your 78 engine.
I and another friend both bought 3fe's complete for under $500. And they needed very little rebuild work.

Ok, no I dont think you should buy it price seems high. It seems like there are more people that have switched heads then whole engines but I would still say switching the engine is a better bet if you know something about electrical and can get through the massive wiring harness of the 62. My roommate failed at the swap bc he couldnt do the electrical right. Like Troll said you can find a whole engine for about the same as that starting price.
