Booked site 46. Not 100% on making it, but wanted to keep my options open. I think I got the last site in that loop.
 
Just found out the wife is going on a "girls" weekend so I am in 100%...... Marshall hope you got room for me :D

Think I'll bring the 40 on this one, nothing better than some topless cruizing in the blazing July heat :hillbilly:

My son is hooked on boating now, so we are definitely looking forward to this trip. So much that I just ordered a new 17' CC. However it won't be rigged in time for this trip, so it will be the little bass boats last outing.

Can't wait to see those crystal waters and waterfalls.

Took the ol Sea Lion out on a summer shakedown run after installing the re-built
starter. We good to go. New Bimini top should be on by then as well.
Friday at the lake was awesome. Nice sandy beach for the dog to fetch the
duck dummy from the water tosses. Water was still chilly. Duh...it's Jocassee.
Saw Alan on the way back. He's bought a boat too.
This should be a fun weekend.
 
I have bumped up picking up my new boat to this weekend in hopes that I can get it rigged up by this trip. I am buying a new hull/trailer and rigging it up myself with my current outboard.

As long as the hydraulic steering, jack plate and GPS/Stereo isn't on backorder I should be cruising. Might be able to hold 1-2 extra people now for some waterfall trips or just boat rides to some beaches. I don't plan on doing any fishing for 1) I don't know what I am doing out there, and 2) I won't have it rigged for fishing in time.

Plus it sounds like David and Alan are bringing boats as well so we should be covered for water activities.

I should be heading up sometime Friday. Hopefully early so I can get setup and get out on the boat and see some falls and catch the sunset.

I may do some Crappie fishing, or try to at least. I know they will be deep, but I really don't have the gear to troll for trout. I should be able to fit 2-3 people on my boat if anyone wants to ride to the falls, or get dropped off on a beach.

I'm still planning on making it so long as the wife is holding up well and the 40 makes it back on the road.

Will probably just be my son and me.

Will anyone have some extra space for us to put up a tent?

bring bigger tent. I may crash with u if the dent is running.
 
k, now hurry up and help me revive the dent. lol
 
i gotta revive the 40 too!

fingers crossed maybe the moutns will be welded in tonight
