i may bring my oldest son as well. He can play interference with your kid as well.

oh i can't go up until sat. night though. Suppose to work 12hrs friday.

Well, I certainly hope the weather forecasters are wrong next weekend. Predicting temps 12* above average. 98* highs are not what I am looking forward too. Might have to drag the RV up so I can have some A/C.

Jeremy

The high currently this weekend will be 90. That's not to bad considering it will only be that hot late in the day. I really don't see it being even this hot considering the lake is so close and the lake water is around the mid 70's. The entire campground is in a wooded section right beside the lake.

As Rick pointed out there is power at most sites. So if your concerned with heat bring a fan.

Well, the Mrs. has a Dr.'s appt. Friday to check out a spot on her skin that she is freaking out about after this weekend. We won't have time to head up and set up camp afterwards so I am going to have to pass. I emailed JP to see if he wanted my site before I canceled it this afternoon to get a partial refund. I figured he may want a spot away Marshall and Andy since he will be bringing the Mrs.;)

If anyone else is interested, let me know.

Hope you guys have fun, and make sure you take a fan. A heat wave is coming through, but maybe those cool Jocassee waters can offer some cool breezes.

Jeremy

cool map. loading up my GPS now. We might be bringing some friends up with us - depends on their ability to get out of work on Friday. Not strangers to the club, but it's been a while since they participated in anything FJ related. Probably since the first Beasley Bash.

So the current lineup is this:
Marshall and family (+ possibly Andy, JP, Mary Ellen) Site 55
Jeremy Site 53 (Jeremy and family are unable to attend, he's offering his site - PM him for details)
Keefers Site 58
David and Family
Rick and Kitty (possibly +2) Site 46
Al and Andrea Site 56/58
Brett and Family Site 56
FJinTegaCay Site 54

And found this info on Devil's Fork SP

The :princess: and I will most likely come down for the day, may or may not bring the labs, but as of now we are planning to be down Sat. morning.

My oldes son and i will be there sat. morning. Do not know about staying overnight yet. Waiting on dohcdelsol to see what happens. Are there any plans for a group meal sat. or everyone for themselves.

The plan, from what I've read on the ONSC board, is that they are doing a Mexican potluck dinner Saturday night.

got the 40 at the muffler shop (loud ride like putting a v8 with open headers in a dumpster)

if she runs well/cool/get the turn signals working and clutch adjusted out i'm planning on making it up for the day.

Still pendinga few miles locally before i jump in her and cruise all the way up there. The 32x11.5's are a PITA to get on a tow dolly if she breaks down and my parents won't be happy having to come all the way from hartwell on the SC/GA border to tow me.

We're headed out shortly (10 am or so) for the 3 hour trip we but plan to stop over in Greenville to let the kids play in the park. I look forward to meeting you Upstate guys.

i might be headed up tonight and stay until sunday. Won't know for sure until i get off work and get the kid.

If anyone has a spot i can set up a tent please PM me your phone number and let me know how much i need to throw in for 2 nights.

Will probably be after work before i get there tonight if i can make it.

I don't have internet at the new house so if you can PM me before about 2-3 that would be great!
