I'm just messing with you guys. I agree older LCs are hot right now and many are demanding premium pricing.

We all have our preferences. I like old school stuff with a twist. Usually involves new school power. At this point you would be hard pressed to get me to put a V8 in an FJ40. I want to be able to pick and choose what new technology I want to use in a vehicle. The 80 series is that latest incarnation that appeals to me and they are generally a little too plush for me.

To each their own!

Was chatting with Ramon about this christmas present project I did and thought that y'all might like it too. Gave it to my brother in law.

Total investment was ~$80. If I only had land to shoot on I'd build myself one or two!!

Completed stand without target. Those hanging yellow brackets can be different shapes, as long as they have a 1.25" hole to rotate around the top tube of the stand.

Nice! Make it out of iron gas pipe instead of pvc and you could roast a pig on it after you're done shooting for the day!

It is made out of black iron pipe. I picked black iron in hopes it would corrode more slowly

and here I thought you'd fabbed up an easily stored rack for hanging small parts for painting

2 out of 3?

Anyone have an available carfax I can burn for you?

Anyone got any towtruck friends? I need a flatbed tow from North High Point to the east side of GSO - paying cash not AAA...

is this a favor for your tuner ? :D

No friends or deals but you could call mike at Blackmon Imports and see who he uses regularly.... make sure to tell him what it is and it will require a flatbed because of the all wheel drive

It's more a favor for me. But yes - this is from tuner A to tuner B...

So I looked it up and I'm covered up to $50.

I know a guy that can be there in two weeks. JK! :grinpimp:

Yeah - I"m just gonna use USAA and let them pick the company.

Filling up for the first time this year. Filled up before the Richland Road trip. Have been driving daily except once. Damn this thing gets good gas mileage!
