Yea - I get it on the bottoms - I am looking for the best solution on the tops where rocks don't typically rub - just feet.

Are you trying to figure out if you can powdercoat the top half of the sliders? I'm confused. Grip tape is a hell of a good solution for additional grip on the top.

Get a couple of candle warmers from walmart, and put the cans on them an hour or so before you spray. occasionally shake the cans to distribute the warm paint. when the can is really warm to the touch, it's time to spray. the biggest problem with spray cans is people trying to spray cold paint.

When its warm, it atomizes better, flows better, and lays smoother. the nozzle is less likely to clog.

It takes about 3-4 warm-weather-months of daily use for someone of my questionable IQ to remember that there is rough grip tape on the sliders BEFORE exiting the vehicle. I was wishing at the time that knee high tube socks were still fashionable.

On the plus side, most people who ride as passenger don't ask for a ride too many times. Oh, and I've not once slipped off a slider, even in rain and wet clay mud.

Love this LOL.

Old 4runner was great at exfoliating your calves - i feel your pain and agree with the fashion statement. BTW, I do see a lot of people around Chatham county with tall socks on - I am likely just behind the current fashions.

Wanted: decals/stickers donated for a good cause. I picked up this rolling cooler for my patio yesterday but want to load it up with decals to block out the Heineken. I have some but it's going to take a huge amount to cover this whole thing.

There was an amazon store that did motorsport stickers like that but they dont have it anymore. Ordered one of those for the garage but after the first h in hundred they were doubles. Those got donated to someone covering a large locker.

Who knows where else to get 500 stickers for $10?

If you send me your address I'll mail these out tomorrow - got them at the rare beer fest a couple years ago but never did anything with them.....
