Was just passing along what I was introduced to. I'm halfway glad they are not any closer than they are.
so what are these yellow tag auctions?
Basically it's an online auction in Stan's backyard.

They are a auction house, big jobs, commercial, industrial, construction, medical, ect.
They are close to me so a good deal for me. Good deal to drive to for the right stuff as well.
I just put up one of the 3 ton chain hoists in the shop today, I had a third trolley.

Al, I bought one of these for $110.00 A few dents, needs a lift cylinder and the locking mechanism needs a little work They are $2,500.00 at the cheapest I found new. They had a couple dozen.

I hear you Al, I resisted temptation in a big way. They often have industrial closing cabinets, divided storage bins, often with hardware. When it comes time to outfit some new shop space I will be shopping there first.
I noticed trends in bidding. Most prevalent is one entity buying up or trying to, all of one type of item. Say it in the storage units, welding rods, chain hoists, ladders. My guess is some sort of surplus store stocking inventory.

These are the chain hoists Al, set up for 20'. The chain on the floor is what I removed to make it work on a 12' ceiling. Hook goes to the floor. 3 chain hoists in the shop now

Ohh gawd - this site is bad news - I can't figure out how to make the pictures bigger, and that is a good thing.
Is sewing cool? Laura bought me a sewing machine for Christmas and I'm super stoked! HD model, what for sewing skookum canvas and leather. Made a christmas stocking as practice past few nights. Lessons were learned, but I'm happy with this first project!
That’s SEW cool!! Sorry couldn’t resist. Seriously though I think it’s badass. Would love to learn how to use a machine. Ashley uses one pretty regularly and has made some nice quilts. I can sew pretty good by hand.
Wish I could sew, steve eby made a badass teepee.i think that would be sweet to make.
