Looking good! Next weekend, I am hoping to get the Spectrum sound deadening painted on. Any chance to drive the Troopy yet? I'm curious how much of a difference it made.

Has made a big difference in road noise. Much much quieter inside. I don't have a quantifiable number, but very happy with the sound deadening.

I've still got 2.5 gallons left that will go bad here by middle ocotober, so if anyone wants it, let me know.

Spectrum Second Skin jute heat insulator added where old OEM jute used to be.

The double sided foil of the jute is a big hindrance honestly. I've had to score the underside numerous times to get the vinyl to bend correctly. Then use a dead blow mallett to attempt to get into the right place.

I told you it was a bit thick.... :D

I drop my little brother off in about 2 weeks to Pendleton for infantry training. I might just hit you up to pick up whatever is remaining to do the floor of my cab.
I live on Pendleton, excited to meet up!

I don’t think I noticed any difference when I did all that to my Ute and it is the smallest cabin space of all the 70 series 🤷‍♂️
I would imagine it makes a bigger difference with a gas engine. The bulk of the noise in mine is engine and exhaust drone.

Started turning the troopy back into something that looks like a factory vehicle. Installed these Australian door cards in the back, doors TBD.

Did the driver and passenger seats come with the Troopy? If not, what are they ?

Cleaned my vinyl flooring today. The power washer wasn't nearly as effective as the wire wheel stripping the old jute.

Putting this back on the underside of the flooring before re-install.

I was very impressed with my front mat that has the footwells and the shape it was in. Cleaned up really well all things considered.

My "middle mat" was cut just behind the seats and doesn't snap into the my rear mat so I used my old rear mat that was kinda beat up to cover the gap between the mid mat and the rear mat and connected them with gorilla duct tape. I too am looking for a mid mat. Any idea where to get one? Everything I've found is no longer available.

i bought both front and mid vinyl from McGeorge Toyota,,,, i buy alot of 70 series parts from McGeorge actually

Hey @joekatana, any mid mats handy these days? You'd have posted something in your for sale thread I'm sure... but always worth asking.
