Had an incident today, I honestly can't recall the last time I was totally out of control......but I did today........
We have to pay to have our junk tires hauled off by a licensed disposal company.....they come once a week.
Big bobtail truck with enclosed 24' box on rear, anyway I saw them backing around and walked out as the 79 Piggy was parked near the gate.
The bozo had my truck missed by inches, I was watching, then he decides to pull forward and cranks the wheel so the ass'end of the truck swung into my 55...
I don't really remember what all I said but it was not nice........about the only thing I did not do was drop the n word on him.......reckon I should be proud of that for in my younger days I thought nothing of using it......here is the damage.......
I need some extra tail lights lens and bezels ......

Man I drive a wrecker, so I agree with the nobody hurt deal...........
and no they have been out of the parts loop according to C Dan at least 7 or 8 years......

Spector has 2 new R lens in stock $105 each.......tempted to buy them.

I was telling him about this incident.......he says, wait just a minute.......he says I'm holding a pristine lens and bezel, and really don't remember where I got them......
They are on the way to me.

You sure it was Cruiser karma? I'm thinking it was Guy Clark karma. Don't know how much time I'd want to spend in my pig on a L.A. Freeway but it certainly fits under Stuff That Works.

My favorite line is "She has a playground sense of justice, she won't take odds"
reminds me of my wife.......

Don't get Guy up here in CO often enough but I see him every chance I get. Best show here was Guy, Townes and Robt. Earl, just the three of them and their guitars, a long time ago. My brothers used to do shows with Townes in the '70s in Denver.
My anthem is "The Cape" from Dublin Blues..."spread your arms and hold your breath and always trust your cape."
Best cut this out or we'll be accused of hijacking...glad the karma worked, whatever the source.

Truly an amazing coincidence, no doubt. The guy I bought this from sold me a TON of FJ40 parts, and this ONE FJ55 taillight. No story behind it.

I had a feeling when I bought it that was obsolete, but also rare enough to not just get shoved on a shelf with a bunch of other taillights. So I had it tucked right under my workbench where I rebuild carbs, close enough at hand to show someone asking about unusual items one of the harder to find pieces in my horde.

So I literally pulled it out from under the bench while Butch was talking, waiting my turn to ask him which side it was.

Wow, that is a great story, glad for the Guy Clark references...

I have been having my temper flare lately. No one hit my Pig or anything like that, but I guess just feeling stressed.

Hearing a little Guy Clark in my mind and feeling the Cruiser Karma makes it all better.

Howdy! Yea, that's Karma alright. But, now Justice would be if he would include an invoice for about a grand or so for the truck driver!! John
