But for real, no. You can't. At least not simply. Your 93 is OBDI. 95+ are OBDII.

I disagree. Later long-block can go into an earlier chassis/harness/ECU/manifolds, but not the other way around.

There are two lights. Next to the oil pressure gauge is a red idiot light for low pressure. Along the bottom of the dash there are several more idiot lights. One of those is the oil level light which is a picture of a yellow oil can. Which one was illuminating? The dipstick is going to provide the correct measurement. It is a common problem with the yellow light illuminating even when the oil level is in the proper range on the dipstick. The sensor on the side of the oil pan needs to be cleaned or replaced. It is ignorant just to add oil when the dipstick, read properly shows the level to be in spec.

That's pretty funny and since we're talking oil follies I will chime in. About 15 years ago I changed the oil on the Cruiser in a hurry. Those 5 quart Mobil 1 jugs were new. I poured one in, walked in the house to check on something for 60 seconds and came back out to frickin Exxon Valdez happening in the garage. Had not put the oil plug in. It was unbelievable! I used up 25lbs of cat litter in 30 seconds trying to stop the inexorable progress of that oil across the garage floor and lost. It went under the tool bench, under all the shelving units, I backed the other cars out of the garage, was dragging thing out into the driveway, throwing down towels, newspapers, sacrificing car wash towels, I even grabbed the actual litter box - turds and all and unceremoniously dumped it where the gaps were. Unbelievable mess.

One time I did an oil change started the engine and oil began spraying everywhere. I shut it off and see it's coming from the filter. I think to myself "oh I didn't tighten it enough." I go buy more oil do it all again and start the car again. Again oil dumps everywhere.

Finally figure out the oring from the old filter was still on so I had to oring and no seal. I probably dumped 6 quarts of oil on the floor.

Interesting. I didn't know this...

Yeah, anything is possible...

My point is 95+ engine into a 93-94 is easy. Use the OBDI intake manifold & harness, add the PAIR, and it will bolt in and work. 93 engine into a 95+ is way harder, if it's even possible. At the least you'd need to remove the timing chain cover and oil pans to add the crank angle sensor. That's IF the CAS will fit into the 93 crank.. I haven't looked into whether that would work or not.
