I’ve been having a tough time after getting my oil changed. Went from whatever I had lying around oil to top up after the winter leakage, 10w-40. Had a Napa gold filter and was registering good idle pressure that would climb with RPMs. After doing an oil change with 20w50 and another Napa golf filter now it’s pegged on the 3rd mark. What effect does anyone’s filter have on oil pressure?

I think what Brian is telling you is the oil viscosity is higher, (thicker oil), therefore your oil pressure will be higher.

What’s the difference between the Baldwin B2 and B2 HPG?

Recently noticed that Purolator makes big can filters. Not sure if they are new but I haven't seen them before. Have a PL30001 in my 80 now. They are made in the USA too.

L30001 (5000 mile)
PL30001 (10000 mile)
PBL30001 (15000 mile)

Here’s what I use. $10 @ Walmart.

The large Napa filter. Don’t have the part number. But seems good quality, I like the size, and don’t run them too long anyway before change for seasonal viscosity needs.

I stopped using the WIX / Napa filters after joining the 80 club and reading about all the lost engines. Scored some big TEQ filters and have one left, then I will switch to the smaller YZ. Heck less than $4 at the dealer.

Toyota is now showing the 90915-40002 as replacing the 15600-41010 large can original, wondering if the 40002 is a large can like the original was? Might try with my parts guy at Camelback Toyota.

It is a large can, just picked up from dealer, but a little over $10 a pop

Also seems a little shorter too to bottom than like say a P8HA, traditional larger can.
