I have four from a 2007 Tacoma. They only have around 3k miles on them before I switched to alloys. $150 and they're yours. Also interested in trades for 40/60 series parts, winches, etc...

Pretty sure Tacoma doesn't fit on the FJC, but there is one way to tell for sure. Where are you located? PM mea picture if you can. Larry

good news and bad news Wilma is alive again the v8 is in and running a few things to finish up but whe will ride again. bad news is I got my mechanics bill I I need to sell parts asap. so off they go to the big board, no on seemed interested anyway.

I gave up one of my children.

total I think I have just under 4k into it.
- $700 3 year old 3000 mile crate engine
- 500 for adapter kit (normally 1400 so that was a deal)
- 2 k for install and a bunch of other stuff. (wilma is a bit tighter mobile now)
- the rest is a bit fuzzy cause I got a bunch of chit to sell and return but in the end it will be right around 4k. But I hope to off set a 1500 - 2k in the sale of my engine and various parts so I geuss the total cost is more like 2k or the mechanics labor.
He only worked on it when I was down there but it learned me alot :)

Wanted

Anyone have a 40 upper dash pad available that they are interested in selling? Mine is so cracked and split that I don't even think I can put a cover on it:doh:. This is for a 77, and per SOR, I think a 72 to 82 will fit. Thanks

Seems reasonable to me with that much outside work. Must be a BIG difference in the power?

Sorry, no spare. I was reading a link the other day that they may be available new from Toyota. Naturally that isn't cheap.

For Sale built CDN 101 1/4 trailer $3700
Kind of sad to do this but I got bills to pay and hopefully this will stave off selling my cruiser a little longer :) seems my wife thinks that catholic school is more important. And with a wife and two girls camping just hasn’t seem to have caught on.
What I got
I picked up a Canadian spec 1/4 ton trailer a few years back that was in really good condition. it was built in 1993.
I swapped the hubs from the 5 lug to the cruiser 6 lug, Sprung it over, Painted it several times; It was my test bed for colors I was thinking about painting my cruisers. Now it is a 60's Toyota color called River Blue that my current cruiser is painted. I put a tail gate in the back as well as made stabilizer feet so when the tent is on top it is level and will not flip. I put a kick down wheel extension on the front to help roll it around and the height is adjustable so as to help level it for sleeping in the tent.
The tent is a Mombasa and is in good condition. I store it in my dry climate controlled basement and it literally gets used once a year. I built a removable rack top with 4 thule spreader bars that I welded together. The tent mounting only calls for 2 but I put a second pair on the outsides so the corners of the tent were supported as well.
I have a brand new oiled canvas tie down cover for the trailer without the tent on it as well. Great for using the trailer to haul mulch.
I used this trailer to transport car parts move my brother in law twice, camp and loads of gravel. I bed lined the floor but it has seen use. And has a few dents here and there. But nothing structural by any means.
The wheels are widened OEM hub cap wheels that were widened by Stockton wheel to 16x8 with 3.5 bs. They are painted grey and have hub caps. The tires are new trxus 255/85r16’s (about a 32.6 x10.7) size tire.
This trailer is set up for camping and to be used for small loads. It has been a great trailer and I am not real sure I want to sell it. I will try and get pics with the tent on it. I do not want to split them up right now. I have a link to some of the build up in my sig line.
