I have seen similar trailers on the surplus sites going for $800 or so. I wouldn't pay more than $700 personally.

A bit on the high side.

+Sales tax
+Title and service fee
+Auction fee 10%

I won mine for 850, but it cost me over 1k before I could even get my hands on it.

Is $1250 a good deal, or even a decent starting point? @GLTHFJ60 @forrest5000 ???

Like others have said, it's a bit high. I bought mine (fresh repaint, fresh tires) for $1200. Sold it to @erymer for $750.

How hard is it to get title for one of those trailers? There are a ton on CL and none are titled....sold with bill of sale only. Maybe they don't get titled/tagged? Might sell my 5x8 utility and buy one of the smaller military trailers.

If you get a chance to get the number, I would appreciate it. No rush. Thanks

offer still stands - I can get the number for you if you like. First glance from driving by: VERY clean. Dark tinted windows. No noticeable damage.

Or if you wanna just go see - it's on the corner parking lot across from the Walgreens in Bermuda Run.

When you buy at auction, for $50 they will issue you a SF-97 which you can obtain a title with (most people recommend, especially for a truck) or Bill of sale for cheaper or Florida title for more that you will have to transfer anyway.

I went with SF-97 because, North Carolina, and I now have a title and VIN. Before GovPlanet, GL didn't always issue a SF-97 and some people have had trouble, esp with trucks, and couldn't get titles. Kind of depends on your luck with tag office, and if they can/will help you also I've heard.

He drove by today and it wasn't there. Will keep an eye out for its return.
