Swapping a H55 into my 1984 FJ60 and I need different driveshafts (shorter rear, longer front). Anyone have a set of driveshafts from a 85-87 truck they want to sell? I *think* they'll fit as is without me having to get custom lengths.
Do you know the measurements from the driveshafts that you need. 84-85 pickups and 86-94 pickups has different driveshafts as it went from solid axle to IFS.

I have both fronts and the rear, ifs and solid axle. Ifs is a DC and solid axle is a single joint. If it’s a solid axle driveshaft you can also use a FZJ80 front driveshaft for the the front. Get the measurements and give me a call and I’ll see what I have. I have a couple sets sitting around

Sounds good. I’ll work on measurements and text you.

@roflbox I’ll bring you a gasket for that can to CRR. I got a couple cans from @White Sheep last year and they held liquid just fine but they let out fumes kinda badly. Had to buy a multipack of gaskets but it solved the problem.

If you've got a bunch, I'll trade you an adult beverage for one at the RR.

Interested in the the knock off depos as donors for a projector retrofit. Are you going to relic run? Also did this cruiser have steering column mounted cruise? If so I'd love the clam shell and cruise switch + harness.

I found one of the gaskets this morning and already packed it with the one for @roflbox . Now I'll just need to remember where I packed it in my jumbled mess of camping crap when we get to the site!

Anyone sitting on a set of 6 on 5.5 wheels in 17” flavor they aren’t using? Could trade cash or 80 series wheels (acorn style lugnuts)

So, I have been informed that the time has come to get rid of “that truck in the driveway,” Old Blue, a 1977 fj40. To be fair, I bought the 40 almost a year ago with intentions of getting it running/drivable, swap some parts with my 79, and to tinker, most all of which did not get done. Life, work etc. got in the way of my plans. I thought I would put it out here first before craigslist etc. 1977 fj40 with a decent amount of the original bits on it (emissions). Running but not road worthy, at minimum brakes need attention and tires are cracked. I replaced the fuel tank with a CCOT one also the soft lines coming out of the tank. Title is a reconstructed title and unfortunately I do not know the history behind that. Previous owner had it since 2008. Asking $7,500.00 but will consider something reasonable. Let me know what questions you have and more pictures are available on request. PM is best. Thanks for taking the time to look.
