$4,370, actually. That's front and rear bumpers, sliders, and skid plate.

It's just really rusty. Trying to account for that. Although, I'm not really in touch with the 80 market these days. If you think that's stupid low, let me know. (sooner, rather than later! :) )
A functional pair of locking axles run about $2k. Armor loses some value after use, but even at 75% value it's still a good buy. If it's going up on Craigslist, I'd bump that up a little bit, unless you're looking for a quick sale. The rust is the only concern I would have, and even that isn't enough to deter me. The only reason I haven't jumped on it is because I'm trying to get out of debt.

I will add, as long as you torque your lug nuts and diff drain plugs before hitting the road, this truck will get you home!

Never had any engine, transmission or t-case problems.

On that note, here are some things I'd do next:

- Replace lug studs and lug nuts (I've done the drivers front and have the OEM parts for the rest)
- Weld up the drain plugs

Oh, I also forgot - there's no front sway bar.

Let's consider this a CLCC special price, then.

Also, forgot to mention that the truck’s not currently registered. Title is fine.

Didn’t renew last year because I failed inspection due to lack of parking brake and the cat not having a visible serial number. It passed the actual emissions test just fine.

My plan was to get antique tags as it qualifies this year. If your inspection is less rigorous, you’ll be fine.

Sorry to see it go Felix but somebody will end up with a solid wheeler at a very fair price.

Not quite $2k for a pair of used locked axles.
All this equipment is well used. I think $5500 is a solid price.

In need of moving boxes... Anyone got a stash they want to donate/sell at a reasonable rate/ trade for the cause?
Yup, we are buying a house and moving off the compound. It's only a whopping 1.5 miles away.

I have about a dozen 18”x12”x12” boxes I can give you for free. I live in Washington, DC and have a pretty flexible schedule this week. PM me and we can setup a time for me to drop them off!

Awesome! I can make my way that way and maybe we can coordinate a convenient place to meet up. I wouldn't ask you to come all the way out to Manassas, if you don't have other business out here to do me a favor.

How about meeting tomorrow (Wednesday) afternoon or Friday afternoon in Fairfax since it’s about the halfway point for the both of us?

NC now only does safety inspections if the vehicle is 20 years or older. I don't think SC does any kind of inspection anymore. Might be worthwhile to post it in the ONSC and Upstate Cruisers clubhouses.

Sounds good. See you tonight at 5:30 PM.
@Wrath Thank you for taking time out of your day to meet me and make the handoff.
very nice ‘91 FJ80 too. It is a very clean specimen and clearly a high desert truck. Looking forward to seeing you at a meeting, tech day or out on the trail.
