The STT Pro 37’s are big. This is compared to an unmounted ko2 at 7/32 tread. So glad I just stayed at 37” with a proper size.

Barely squeezing inside my previous trimming for Trxus with 3/8” longer LCA.

A little BFH fender lip coaxing needed to the front.

How she looks now - perfect. That’s an entire size up from the 37” ko2.

I bashed my PS rear just in front of the D pillar again. Have to pop it back out this time and yet another tail light replacement on order.

We dropped in before the official trail sign and hit a tight squeeze with boulders where it pitched into the side when I thought it was through. Driver error.

No overall body size concerns for as far in as we went - I didn’t take any bypasses and was in first hitting the obstacles as presented without much spotting. Just the usual 80 hangup points on the steep ledge type climbs.

Highly recommended - if you like desert canyon trails up flash flood washes, you’ll love 21 Road. It’s non-stop fun.

I thought being on 37’s and a 4.5” lift was about right. Cleared everything easily except the big dog stuff and two big breakiver angle spots that always cause issues for 80’s once the weight is making contact.

But we got the 4Runner and Taco on 33’s through - the Runner isn’t locked and the Taco has the rear factory locker and it’s 124” wheelbase. The other Runner is on 35’s and maybe had it slightly easier, but when two similarly built rigs come before you the line is set. It took a lot of work to get that level of build through, but they tried the hard lines and got through most of them.

Had the group been more equipped as a whole we’d have tried to push all the way to the end. One thing to keep in mind is the access road (the actual 21Road) crosses the trail repeatedly, so it’s easy to bail on sections if desired where there is no other bypass in the wash and you can reasonably avoid issues that way.

At least so long as you are comfortable with off camber roads over washes with big erosion spots to the downhill side that you need to cross with a little bit of throttle.

The crawling in the wash is a lot more...comfortable.

Bought my first LC (LX450) on Memorial Day weekend. Spending the time baselining, cleaning, and swapping out a few things.
37’s, triple locked, 5.29’s, 3 link front, etc etc.

A final note for now on fitment of the STT Pro. I decided rather than deal with the minor fender contact that I would pull my 1” spacers for my wheeling trip.

This resolved all fender clearance issues with only a very minor amount of inner well issues, but it messed with my brain. I’ve been wheeling with the spacer setup for years in tight spaces, and I managed to ding all of my corners except the one damaged in my accident that I haven’t fixed yet.

Tires a lot more tucked here.

^^^also took out the corner light, but I had a spare so that’s all better here. Tire spaced back out now.

I’ve hit ^^^ 3 times now but never so hard. I took the opportunity to pop them all (mostly) back out. A little bit of Durabak, yet another replacement tail light, and will be all good again.

I’d have made some contact ^^^ either way, but the other two were missing the change in tires to body. Apparently best not to make that kind of change when headed out to difficult technical wheeling in tight spaces.

What is the wheel offset, after wheel spacer removal?

The rim is 17x8.5 with -6mm offset. That’s
4.5” backspace, same as stock, with the .5” wider rim all to the outside.
