I was asking a mate of mine about those exact rhino Wheels, his brother had them on his ranger, he had to upgrade his brake rotors and pads because the solid wheel wasn’t allowing enough air flow to cool the brakes. You may end up needing to remove the stone guards or something to allow air flow, or if you find that your getting heat soaked and fading brakes too often then changing to a set of slotted or drilled rotors. Worth it tho, good looking wheel and tyre combo. I love my trail grapplers

Got my new tires mounted this morning. 38.5x11r16 Boggers. Flexed the suspension to full dropped with front wheels turned in every direction. Only contact was the back of front wheel wells. I cut about a 3 inch arc and pie cut the inner fender and hammered it up. No contact at all now. Can't wait to wheel it.

Got any tips on how you did those flares? I think this is the best way to go flareless.

This is the best thread on mud. Makes me rethink buying puny 35s.

The factory flares had been mostly ripped off at that point, so I just put aluminum HVAC tape over the holes and liner over that. I need to update this as I’ve had to do a lot more trimming and a few other things since then. I’ll get some new pics up today. Still happy with my tire choice.

I’m really not sure what direction I want to go with my truck at this point. I kind of want to cut it up and make a buggy, but my wife wants to keep it full body for taking kids and whatnot. Also, she likes to sleep in it. I really do too.

My solution is to keep this truck as is and buy a totaled 80 to chop up, but I don’t have room right now.

Here’s some updated pics. I generally use a jigsaw with a fine tooth metal blade to cut cheer metal. Grinders/sawzall/multi tool for hard to reach spots.

I’m also trying to keep things as light as possible, so my interior is stripped and I keep a third row seat in for my son to sit in, but I can fold it up and have a flat space for us to sleep on.

Hard to tell, but plenty of clearance in the front all directions. No sway bars front or rear.

How much backspace does those rims have?

I also found this tool. It has a back space to offset calculator as well. It'll convert from one to to the other. Just leave one of the cells blank:

Wheel Offset Calculator

This will let you visualize one wheel/tire specs vs another. Stock vs aftermarket

Here’s my setup vs a 35/12.50r16 (orange outline) on a stock rim. I'm further from the frame and from the lip of the fender.

37/11.50????

37/11.50????
Yes. Many of hours of research on here made me come to the conclusion tire width actually causes more issues for everyone then how tall a tire is.

Being that it’s a 20” wheel. This would be like the sidewall to tire width of a 33/11.50R16

Whoa! What weels are those? Sorry if i missed that part.

I like 37’s but not a big fan of wider than 12.50 and 11.50 would be even better! But I already have 17’s and 5 of them, so not likely to buy something new.

Your wheels look like military 3 piece, Bad ass looking. Makes me think it needs a 6bt under the hood, 12v flavor!

I loved my KO2s. you will too. what spacers you rollin??

Just generic spacers off of Amazon. I wasn't sure if they would be the right spacing, so I didn't want to commit a bunch of money to toss them out.

@Redgrrr - the wrap is a printed pattern on Avery brand white vinyl. It's held up remarkably well through temp swings, mud. power washing and eating many branches. I had Image360 do the install on it, I have no patience for that.
