I purchased a Saudi FJ80 that came with a matching trailer. It’s a cool little thing. I’ll get it cleaned up and get more photos as I do.

Just checking to see if anyone has ever seen one like this before.

Got it cleaned out today. Took a whole front end loader full of crap out of it. It’s got a bit of cancer because of that but nothing terminal.

Still no clue on manufacturer

After the consult at Powder Keg, I brought it home to get it ready for powder.

I stripped out the wires and pulled the hubs tonight. 56mm hub nuts like a Cruiser. That’s nice.

More coming.

it does seem to have a military box but there also seems to have been some improv going on.

Are you going to powder coat the inside of the bed? Will look nice but I would be afraid to use it. One nick and that stuff starts to rust underneath and then peel. At least that has been my experience. Maybe a nice bedliner interior......

The powder will all be just epoxy primer. I
Will have to paint and line everything

it has Colombia level bondo all over it too for some reason. That may be a hint that it was hand made over in Saudi. Also, all of the bolts I’ve pulled have been JIS not US.

Please tell me you are going to return it the same color/stripe combo? Super cool!!!!

Wheels made it back from powder.
Also, turns out FJ60 bushings fit in the frame and springs but they are too long. I broke out the sawzall and made them right.

Hopefully the trailer gets blasted this week and I can start putting it back together soon

Tires are 235/85-16

The trailer cooked for a day to get all the crap out of the small spaces. The are going to touch up a few more spots before they apply the epoxy
