- each Lock Cylinder Key Set comes with qty x 2 Factory Master Keys & it's Corresponding Factory TOYOTA Key Code is Factory Stamped on the Side of the Barrel itself like shown below

- i do not have any same factory key codes matching 2pc sets . ALL of these little rascals have a unique factory key code to themselves

- i can however do what do professionally for a living and re-key / re-code one or both , to match your factory FJ55 Key Code you supply me vis MUD PM...

- the re-key / re-coding topic above is not required here of course , however it's a additional stand alone flate-rate-type service , each optional re-keyed / re-coded Lock Cylinder will come with 1 TOYOTA OEM Metal Top Factory Code Cut Master Key as shown below after the initial ad photos ...

- i do-not have a endless supply of these Unique-UNICORN-Status pieces of FJ55 / FJ56 / BJ56 History ...

i have also acquired more of these same exact service lock cylinders as well ....


initially i only scooped up what you see in the initial technical and professional mechanical artwork photos here , because i needed to be certain that the part # that i came up with matched these 100% solid , being that they come with the 1973-9/1980 FJ55 Steering Column & Locking Fuel Door Key Style ....


i have installed a pair in a 1977 FJ55 here at my shop , and there a correct application factory fit , form and function perfection level A+ status oem part on both the RH and LH front doors , this also dictates that there correct parts application will correctly apply back to 1967 as well and on to 1980 forward too

transferring / swapping over the arms on the ends of the old locks to these new ones was a 5 minute task as well .....

- the U shape Lock Cylinder retainer Clips inside the Door shells themselves also worked fine

- i Re-Keyed Each one to match the existing ignition and fuel door Factory Key Code , and that was nice to hand over a single use Master Key ....

- the Power Window Tailgate switch locks are there own little animals , and use ONLY the short and stubby STOP-SIGN original to the Truck from the Factory , so that key will NOT apply to these or the 73-80 FJ55 ignition & Fuel Door ......fyi

- having each lock cylinder you purchase RE-Keyed to match the your truck and or each other is NOT a requirement here to be clear , its a choice you make ... ......
