Filled up 80 after trip along Blue Ridge Parkway and 460 home and wandering around to get home. 268 miles and fuel light not on yet. Averaged 13.467 mpg. Not bad for 35's and 4:88's. A little stiff after ride home, not something I want to take across country yet.

Swap in some seats from an old S class or 7 series. The sport seat in the E38 gen is very comfy and has the power controls on the side. Easy swap as that goes

Maybe we can come to an arrangement in way too long a timeframe

Oh, and forgot to add. It cruised down 29 from C'ville all the way to Lovingston in Overdrive @60 mph. I did let it work up the hills and it would drop to 55 mph and the torque converter would unlock but it did not down shift. It did well on 460 too, only downshifting if I really got into it.

I think with 4:88 and 35s the 80 would be a great truck.

I've actually been considering trying to find a set of OEM wheels and 35s for the next time I drag this thing across the country
You need to put the underdrive gears in when you put the low range gears in. Just sayin.

These made my seat much more comfortable. Better leg support.

I have the 2" extender and power seats, so they go up to support the legs. I am just so used to my GMC on long trips. BUT I got my CD player!! haahaa
