There are some stout aircleaner parts for sale on mud.......

Thanks, I'll give her a look. Working up an appointment with Troll to put in the new carb and some other, more profitable things for Troll. Should be in the Upstate soon.

This is a really cool little truck! I live 5 minutes down the road from Weaverville. Let me know if you ever need a second set of hands. I don't have any project cars at this time, and I'm happy to help out.

Thanks Hans,

Where are you at? Think about joining upstate cruisers. Good bunch, and through them you will find that dream ride. In fact, we have had at least one cookout and hamom ( help a member of a month) in Weaverville.

Your stout also looks great. I hope mine can look that good. I just recently pulled the cab and bed off my frame. You are lucky your cab is not super rusty. I have to make and weld in new rockers and a new drivers side floor.

Thanks Rusty

luckily they are easy to work on. Had to weld in a patch in my DS floor also. Seems to be a weakspot. Added license plate lights recently to make it legal, finally.

Stout lights.webp

What is the red pull switch in the cabin for? The parts truck I have has one and I cannot figure out what it is for.

That is the auto destuct switch .... really, its the four-way hazard lights, which actually work quite well.

That's Cabe Toyota's shop truck in San Diego, the home of the last remaining NOS Stout parts. I think I paid to pave that lot last year!!

Kudos to Trollhole who rebuilt my Carb and installed it this past weekend on my Stout. Also diagnosed and fixed a couple of other issues. Driving it all around Asheville these days.

Also, bravely drove my 82 FJ40 to Charlotte and back Tuesday for work, daring rush hour traffic on 85 both ways. The carb on that one was rebuilt by Marks Offroad and got between 14-15 mpg. Managed to get it up close to 70 mph.

Here is the repair manual. I don't know if you have one.

This is the repair manual for the Toyota Lite Stout / Stout. It covers models RK41, RK41L and RK100. I will see if I can do the parts manual here soon as well. I wish a chassis manual existed, I have not been able to find one yet.

Thanks Rusty. Can you fix Section 4 (suspension) in the Stout Repair Manual. The "f" was left off of pdf.

I now have a complete repair manual and a complete parts manual!!!! Thanks to all. Still looking for an "Owners Manual" and a OEM toolbox, the holy grail for Stouts.

I can scan my owners manual if you need it. The tool box is something I don't have and I want. They sell on Ebay but only for the box. They are expensive.
