Yes, clears the PS box. I used a 3/4" plate to push the box further "out". I still have to get the shock towers mounted. I'm at an impasse at the moment, but that is probably due to over-analyzing them. Imagine that.

Met with my body/paint guy last night. He's working on this in his spare time (he works full time in the Ford dealer body shop). Working on a few parts at a time to skim/block/prime, then will shoot final on everything at once.

Right now I'm debating on colors:

637 Green
653 Olive Brown

Definitely going to look at actual color chips before I make that call, as every screen I've looked at them all shows a different shade.

Interior floor will be Monstaliner, probably tinted. That'll happen after we final coat the exterior.

Stripped all the hardware off the doors and took them to the body shop today. Really "enjoyed" cleaning off the black goo used to attach the plastic to the door.

Chris - What did you use to get that goo off? Mineral spirits?

Naptha, a plastic razor blade, a lot of shop towels, and a respirator.

Re-assembling the engine. Any suggestions on what to do with the manifolds? My first thought was to split them, sandblast, and paint with high-heat paint. My 2nd though was to do nothing. I'm sure the answer lies somewhere in between.

Body work is on hold pending arrangements with different shop. My buddy who was planning to do the work has spent the fall understaffed with no end in sight. I'm waiting to finalize the deal with another shop in town.

I blasted my manifolds and coated them with a manifold paste from Eastwood. If you lived closer, I'd let you use mine. It goes a long way.

I would split them and clean up the intake as best you can. Then blast the exhaust manifold and paint her up pretty. I also used an Eastwood high temp manifold product. Here's my before and after.

I ended up splitting them. Glad I did as the heat riser gaskets and insulator plate were shot and were leaking. New ones on order from Molle.
