I'm sure it's meant to be done a certain way and I would guess SOR customer service can help.. I'd bet it's super simple like adding some burlap between the pad and springs.

Back into the seat refresh, found a broken ‘spring’. Not sure how to fix it.
Cleaned up and painted some parts.
Ordered covers and foam.

You can buy a roll of seat spring wire and bend it with a brake line tool and replace that section. Or, for around $20, amazon has kits. Just take out your bad section and clamp in the new one.

With 3 shots in and one eye closed 🤣. Seriously though, thank you. I always end up rushing stuff because I get frustrated with not having any skill whatsoever with anything, so this actually came out better than I was expecting.

Someone on here was reproducing them. I cant find the thread though.

What are the chances of someone having an extra (intact) knob?🤣

Unobtanium as far as I know, plus they like to snag on you when getting out, so if you replace it will probably just get broken again.

I tapped the end of the pull-shaft and screwed a ball knob on I found on McMaster Carr.

Mine are same driver and passenger. Your driver side looked different?
