New owner- 1976 FJ55, looking for info and parts

Acquired 1976 FJ55, imported from Mideast and apparently seatbelts aren’t a thing there- looking for info on what brackets and hardware I need (there is nothing) and any illustrations of hardware mounts. I have Haynes manual and service manual on way.

Also- it appears the overseas owner got tired of someone adjusting the bench seat and welded the tracks in position ( just 2 tacks that I can see). Am I guessing wrong?

Likely had lap belts, check for mounting holes on floor at rear of bench.

Probably like many, I dig those rear doors. Wonder why that didn’t happen here in the US market?

Last interior pic is tack welds on seat track weld- pass side- cutting these today to adjust seat

No telling why they welded it, likely the sliding mechanism is broken. That 60/40 rear seat is sweet, super rare. All trucks came with that bunch if you end up needing parts.

it! Power steering, rear jump seats, and split rear bench and barn doors. Get rid of dem Widow maker split rims(save them but don't use them!) and get conventional .

Dremel with cutoff wheel removed the tack welds- seat is fully adjustable now and actually locks in position- no idea why other than maybe last owners kid kept moving the seat on him

Are you sure it's a '76? Maybe someone swapped in a later motor with factory power steering? Can you read the motor serial number?

Seat belts could have been lap or non retractable shoulder in front.

Not sure on the steps- I’m a bigger guy and wouldn’t try them anyhow
