Yep, interested indeed. I'm currently trying my damnedest to track down the "original MUDDER" @Delancy mentioned (name's Andrew), the one asking $1500 for an unseen product. In my opinion the gent's scan-over-model rendering looked very promising, and with 3D printing you could go straight from model to functional printed model to verify geometry waaaaay before creating a mold/pattern. This isn't 3D printer hype, it's something I feel confident in based on my work experience.

So far, Andrew has responded to me on Facebook but not here on MUD. Recall Andrew is the OP of this post: new lx 5 speed top plates

But I like @Indygbd 's enthusiasm and drive, so I'm hoping to see good results once the plate's in-hand.

Guys I got a unicorn top plate no internal shift fork assembly. I purchased a new H55f and was able to use all existing shift fork assembly parts minus two small parts. I searched heaven and earth and the two unique parts could not be found. Took this to my local shop and they spec'd the two needed shift fork parts and Had them machined. Call James or Ian at R&R off-road at 719 465 4594 if you have an empty 40 top plate but a new H55F.

He's technically asking for any reasonable offer over $700. Or at least that's the last post I recall seeing.
