Because we have nothing better to do. It's not personal. We have wheeled with Jeepers before. But our Club is about Land Cruisers. There is no hate towards them. We always give a helping hand getting them out when they break.:flipoff2:

I like the pics. LOL!!!!

Calm down Sparky, I would never try to make this a Jeep form, i just like seeing all of your pics of your cruisers so i can learn more, and i just thought i'd post a couple of my pics. At Northeastcrawlers we have all kinds of people post, even though its really for Jeeps, the only one's we dont really like are Hummers. I've driven hummers for 8 years in the Army and i hate how they try and make them all prissy. I would love for some of those prissy asses to drive a Real Hummer and see how they like it then. Anyways, sorry again, hope theres no hard feelings, just very interested in this kind of stuff.

Thanks

Dude you're fine. You are more than welcome to hang out. He wasn't trying to be smarta$$ or anything. Andy's a great guy and would give you the shirt off his back to help anyone. That's pretty much how everyone in this club is. If you notice how many members of a SC cruiser club don't live in SC. That goes to show you what kind of people are here. This club has folks that live in NC and GA to mention a few. It's not because there are not clubs in our respective states, but that this one is just that damn good. :D

I do have to say you guys are right about the fact that it seem that everyone and their mom has a Jeep. Thats why I keep trying to make mine alot different from other Jeeps. And sorry about the whole "Sparky" thing, I didnt mean anything by it. Man, I feel like going out and wheeling now, but its about 5 degrees outside right now, so i think i'll pass for a couple of more weeks..

sissy :flipoff2:

wheeled last Sat in my 80-series, high of -3 I think, and some of the Jeep owners I was out with had nothing more than heaters and windshields to protect them....weekend before about +20 in my FJ40...course, having no windshield, no doors, no top and no heater did make it more fun! (see http://gallery.ih8mud.com for pics)

:grinpimp:

glad to see the SC guys aren't beatin ya around too much ;)

must of us out here would be totally freindly outside these mud walls.however i do not change i am the most outspoken of the bunch:D get to wv ever look me up on here:beer: i promise to leave me sheep at home:flipoff2:

You are welcome to hang out.. You respect our Cruisers we respect a built Jeep. Like Erymer (my hubby) said, you see Jeeps every where. I wanted one of course to drive with the top down in the summer, not for 4wheeling. Once Erymer showed me the tape of the John deer going thru snow like that I agreed we needed one. Our Mustangs and Camaro don't go thru snow that well. LOL And you don't see Cruisers very often. Even the new 80 and 100 series are not as common at Jeeps.

As for the disliking of H2 and H3... I'm right there with you. Those owners think that the truck is the Hummers the military uses, and they are SO wrong. BTW we have pictures of Cruiser lending a helping hand to some H2 and H3's on here as well... :)

When you are down this way you are welcome to join us on a wheeling trip, we don't mind having you in our group. :)

yeah I really don't like the new hummers....Love the old ones though. For more hummer dislike check out the linky. pretty funny schtuff. One of the local radio folks took a brand new hummer down to URE and flopped it good. :flipoff2:

Oh Yeah.. I forgot. "SPARKY!!!!" LOL ROF.... TOO Funny.. :) That was a good one for the new guy..

Woody is insane, don't listen to anything he says, he just owns this site, nothing really important there! :)

I live in GA, so if it gets colder than 32 I am pretty sure water freezes or something!

You'll have to post some of those pics up helping out the H2's and H3's, Man i hate those things!!!

I grew up in a cruiser but my parents sold it before i could drive. I guess that's why I ended up in one now.

don't take any of this seriously, at the end of the day we're all the same...

....childish, a little crazy and arguing on the internet because we have too much free time while waiting for parts to arrive. I mean look at JP, he doesn't even wear shoes.

I got my cruiser after getting the bug from reading about them in Peterson's 4Wheel and Offroad. After I got it running again and before I'd even added a lift or aggressive tires I'd get a call about once every 2nd saturday from friends who drove heeps asking for me to come pull them out.

Welcome to MUD RC. It's only a matter of time before you'll get that FJ-40 shaped hole in your heart.

RC- Erymer has a link above showing some of the pics... GOOD STUFF.. :)

Someone said: "I guess what draws me to cruisers over Jeeps is the rareness of cruisers. Jeeps are a dime a dozen around most parts were as cruisers are few and far between especially the older 40 series........ it is cool having something no one else on your street does"

You non-comformists are all alike!

It's like Harley riders and Beemer riders, Ford vs Chevy, Cessna and Beech, Coke and Pepsi. It's all good. Cain't we all jest git along?

On the other hand: on the trails it seems like we end up waiting for j**ps to get over something a lot more than they do us. Main difference seems to me is we like to crawl on rocks and they like to play in the mud. Any shrinks out there?
Is this a class warfare thing? Different potty training? Snobs is snobs, goes both ways.

On the other hand, Land Rovers are an overpriced joke, can we agree on that?
Up at Tellico I waited behind a pair of them for half an hour or more until they finally decided to turn around go back where they came from. I motored on past and over the hump and I heard one of them say "Yeah but he's got traction control". Why do they pay what they pay for those things and not get traction control?

Now solve this one for me: I saw in a car magazine that H2s and H3s are actually re-skinned Jeeps. Any truth to that?

OK, I gotta be honest. I like being different. I bought my FJC because it looked cool and unique and because Toyota has a great reputation for quality and off road experience. My extremely high expectations have been surpassed continuously.

Ok I'll agree with you. I have seen some of them do some amazing things though. No way I would pay that much for them.

Dustin, one of the selling points for me was a video I saw from legenday landcruisers.....the statement said something like....."look in all of the most extreme places around the world....you'll see Camels, and mules, and Landcruisers. " You won't see a Ford in the Amazon or a Chevy in the plains of Africa. It all about being different I guess. But anyway, not to continue to beat a dead horse. Hurry up and get away from that cold crappy weather up there. I promise you won't have any lake effect snow in Charleston. :grinpimp:
