I like the 4 bolt mounting idea too but what about using 3 bolts to mount and the 4th as a locking position. You can find this idea stock on the rear FJs and it has come in handy around here when we had some punk kids stealing spare tires just to roll them down a local hill crashing them into parked cars. If you are going with 38 inches of rubber I would imagine you are also going with beadlocks so I would hope you would want to keep them secure from theft.
