Was finally able to put a face to Christo.Slee and the rest of the crew who I have talked to over the past few months and met them all today, Joe ran through the details of the install and all the wiring they cleaned up.... He cleaned up the winch wiring and relocated the winch controller. Pulled out the Blue Sea stuff I installed for the dual battery setup and installed the one they sell with a monitor located the center counsel and simple Link button that combines batteries..installed heated seats a seven pin trailer plug...and we bumped the rear spring to heavy OME... I''ll be back there on Friday for a new Slee drag link and to have the Tembo Tusk Load Spotter and Engle Fridge installed
It's was snowing in Golden and as we headed towards Vail they closed I70... So we decided to take the long way out RT 40..but turned back to i70 at Winter Park Resort..as they opened i70 again ...truck performed beautifully over six hours up and down the mountains on snow covered roads and ended up in Vail drinking Bloody Mary's at The Westside Cafe with my support crew
The operation that Christo Slee runs is like no other that I have experienced to date... and the work that's performed by the guys in the shop is exceptional ....First class operation run by first class guys who take so much pride in their work...

Where did you get the panel? I've seen it here before but I can't remember where I could get it.

Now, you will have to get this $weet barrier and divider setup. It's the next logical step of the sickness.

I have the barrier but not the divider.... Did you build it or buy it?

Lou

I got both the barrier and divider from ARB.[/QUOTE

I'll check and see if I can use the divider with my barrier.. Are you in AU? That's a drop slide...right? That slide is not available here

I got that slide - platinum drop slide, from Slee. I think they sold out. I am in Oregon. The divider won't work with the Speski barrier. It would not look right anyway. I have one of those collecting dust.

Well I spent about 14 days driving my 80 in Co, NM, AZ, TX, then home to Va.... When I arrived at Slee to pick up the truck Christo indicated that I had a aftermarket radiator and I might want to install a OEM once I got home....on the way to Phoenix I did notice the truck was running a little warm and at one point climbing a 6 miles pass temps ran up to 226....at which time I turned the heater on to help keep it cool... I was aware the 2UZ runs hotter then my old engine but was not comfortable with the temps knowing I was about to pull a trailer home from AZ..
So leaving Phoenix with the trailer...and on the first big climb temps went right up to 220 and I pulled over and called Slee...Christo recommended I remove my XS900 lights and license plate which pretty much blocked the grille area and I headed out. The truck now ran about 208-213 which was much cooler but i was looking for cooler temps. I called Sewell Lexus and ordered the OEM radiator knowing I'd go right through Dallas and the fact that Christo recommended a tech he knew. The other reason for using Sewell is I work for a Lexus Dealership and Sewell discounted the radiator plus I got a Lexus loaner for the day...which was pretty sweet.
Leaving Dallas and back up to HWY speeds the temps were right at 197 running 79-85 mph and I was a happy camper the rest of the way home

I few new shots...Oak Creek Canyon...who needs High beams 50 watt HID projectors low beam, iPad and iPhone setup, Engel Fridge
