Here's not a very good picture of our 1962 FJ40 with a 77 Chevy 350. I did not do the conversion the PO did. He did a especially nice job on the power steering conversion. Sad thing is we purchased the Land Cruiser when my wife was pregnant with our daughter. Now my daughter is 18 and this is all the further I have gotten. Next year she will be off to college and I hope to get it on the road again, wish me luck.

Take the weekend off to work on it, and drive her there in it... It shouldn't take that much longer to make it roadworthy... For what you've paid to store it, you could've hired someone to build it for you... :D

It's been in my shed for 8 years. It's a time thing for me, but I will get to it.
 
LS1 powered 1982 FJ40 with 35' simex etII and lockers F and R.

200kW at the wheels and lots of fun driving through 60 series 5 speed box and out a 3" exhaust
