So here's a pic of the rear mount. I cut off the stock mount and drilled a hole through it. Then attached the hole thingamagiggy with another bolt. The part of the stock mount in turned to the side about 90 degrees and fits perfectly back there. Any other pics you need? like different angles or anything?

I think I want to try this one, whenever I get the time/money...

Retrosound Model One Digital media receiver for classic cars — available in black and chrome at Crutchfield Signature

I currently don't have any holes cut in my doors or cargo panels and don't want to cut any...I may just do the box speaker thing.

Looks good but when I run the fitment on my '76 FJ55 it says "Does not fit".

The later model FJ55's have speaker mounts in the cargo area on one side. I put them on both sides in my truck and used factory grilles to maintain the look. Unless you KNOW there was supposed to be a speaker on one side only you'd never know the difference.

I currently have a mono AM/FM factory radio but if I come across a factory '60 series AM/FM stereo I'll use that (with the face plate from my mono radio). I know it's not factory but most folks would never know.

RCA = really crappy audio. Might as well listen to a tape deck.
