G'day Fj Seattle.
I have read this thread from 'cover to cover' and loved it, most impressive.. Ha, I'd like to know the final cost..
Please dont be too offended, but I think the snorkel looks a bit amaturish and sort of spoils the 'look'.... Maybe a curve welded into it...

Gaz....

Dang those seats look comfy. The plastic center console box looks way outta place on a truck that has no plastic everywhere else. The aqualu hood looks totally outta place. The original 40 hood defines the rest of a 40's body lines and character. I hope the scoop will help but its hard to duplicate or one up the originals character. Youve done some real good work. Gas mileage will be amazing and will be interested to hear your mpg numbers. I would definetly run 3.73s with a diesel as rpms are not your friend and torque is not an issue. I remember in the cummins ultimate adventure jeep they installed 4.56's which makes no sense and Im sure killed their mileage.

Mate that hood looks very nice it suits that vehicle and it won't rust like the originals

Exhaust is a simple down pipe and magna flow muffler, exiting out the passenger side. Super Quiet.

Still waiting on some cinch clamps ordered to anchor the console down.

Looking good! The welds look super clean. Is that the same rear turn signal assembly you mentioned earlier in your thread? LED?

Damn thats a nice build your doing. Congrats. I think its funny that even with a build this nice you still get opinions on what you should change.

Very nice work mate keep it coming

Well after more time, the bumper is all together and fits as needed. Not happy with the original product from 4x4 Labs, but were moving on.

Cut the Aqaulu hood to look more stockfish.

Going to "paint" in a couple weeks. Dune Beige (416), White (033), and ARB Black for all the accents and cerakote hinges.

What a great build this is. I am definitely going to keep an eye on this one to the finish.

What issues did you have with the 4x4 Labs bumper? It looks great in the pics.

It came without the owner test fitting the cooler basket, tire carrier, nor clearances when open.

I had to basically redo everything. Should have bought the loose kit to start. Paying to have his shop do it was a mistake.
